High Definition Printing ribbons and HDP Film combine to produce virtually tamper proof and durable cards with crisp, 300 dpi images - even on the surface of technology cards. FGO-84512 YMCKK ribbons consist of yellow (Y), magenta (M) and cyan (C) panels for printing a full spectrum of colors by combining the colors using varying degrees of heat. The two K panels are black resin, typically used for printing text and barcodes. Fargo YMCKK ribbons are for dual-sided printing , with YMC and the first K panel printing on the front side, the second K panel prints on the back side of the card. The FGO-84512 ribbon is for use with the HDP5000, HDP5600 and HDP5000e series of card printers, and must be used in conjunction with HDP film FGO-84500.
