3iD Management Return Policy

Unopened/Unused Items
Proximity and iClass access control ID cards cannot be returned nor refunded. You may return unopened/unused items within 30 days of receipt of purchase. Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, we cannot offer a refund or exchange.

Return eligibility:
  • Please contact 3iD Management customer care by sending an email to or call (800)-316-7304, so we may help you with your return.
  • Your item has to be unused and returned in the same condition as when you first received it and it also has to be in the original packaging.
  • Products need to be shipped back to 3iD Management freight pre-paid, unless items prove to be defective or items ordered are not the item received. A Return Authorization Number (RMA) will be issued by 3iD Management and must be included on the shipping label to ensure your items can be tracked for credit and return purposes. Please contact 3iD Management for further details.
  • A 15% restocking fee will be deducted from your credit. 3iD Management does not give credit for shipping on the original order.
  • Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

Non-returnable items:

  • Used printers
  • Opened media such as cards, printer ribbons and printer cleaning kits
  • Software
  • Special order items
  • Personalized or custom products, including but not limited to custom lanyards, custom badge reels, custom badge holders and custom visitor management products
  • Programmed HID, Identiv or XceedID cards.

Defective Merchandise (DOA)
If you received a product that is defective or non-functioning out of the packaging, please contact 3iD Management to arrange for a return material authorization number (RMA#). The RMA number must be listed on the shipping label so we can track your return. We will do our best to replace the product or issue a credit as quickly as possible.

Refunds (if applicable)
When your returned product is received and also inspected, we will email you to let you know that we have received the returned item. We will let you know when there is an approval or rejection of the refund. If you have been approved, your refund can be processed, and the credit is applied to your credit card automatically or by your initial method of payment, usually within a few days.
