    The Evolis YMCKI ribbon is specific to retransfer technology. The inhibitor (I) special coated panel prevents the design from being printed on specific parts of the cards such as magnetic stripes, chips and signature panels. The areas from the card to be saved up by the transfer film are specified in the printer driver. It is possible to define up to 5 different parts on one card.
    This ribbon is composed by 5 panels: Yellow, Magenta, Cyan, Black and Inhibitor.

    Evolis electronic key with RFID tag:
    Delivered with the ribbon, the electronic key secure the use of the printer and allow the ribbon recognition and monitoring. Without this key, the printer will not print.
    Storage Information:
    Up to 1 year after purchase, if stored in a cool, dry environment and having remained unopened from the original packaging. Once opened, lifetime of 6 months, if stored under cool, dry conditions. Avoid dust and direct sunlight.

    Storage temperature between 5-25°C (41-77° F) and at RH between 35-65%.
